Low Voltage Systems Technician

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Low Voltage Systems Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of computer or electronic systems primarily in K-12 school settings and healthcare facilities, including but not limited to, Nurse Call, Fire Alarm, Paging, Intercom, Security/Access Control, CCTV, and computer networks.

Qualifications:

The Low Voltage Systems Technician shall possess a two-year degree or equivalent combination of education and related low voltage systems field experience. Experience with Public Address, Access Control, Nurse Call, Networked Control Systems, and Networks Configuration Skills are highly regarded.

· Ability to efficiently use basic low voltage technician hand tools (i.e. power drills, hammer drills, crimp tools, punch down tools, wire strippers, etc.)

· Must have valid and current driver’s license.

· Must be able to pass CBI background checks.

Responsibilities:

1. Installation of structure cabling and system components

2. Responsible for handling on-call duties on a regular scheduled basis

3. Responsible for reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints

4. Responsible for accurate tracking on time sheets, service/installation tickets and

inventory items

5. Full compliance with company's and customer's safety program

6. Other duties as required or assigned by company management

7. Availability to work off hour shifts when necessary

Pay: $27.65 - $33.30 per hour
