What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Truck Mechanic position at Sterling Carting?
Responsible candidate shall be able to repair: Hydraulics, Brakes & Air Systems, Electrical, Transmissions & Suspensions, in addition to perform preventative maintenance services, and go on road calls for emergency breakdowns.
Mechanic must have:
More than 2 years of experience
Own their own tools
Be willing and able to lift greater than 50 lbs
Be familiar on working on class 8 trucks such as: Mack, Peterbilt & Kenworth.
Computer diagnostic experience with Cummins Insite & Premium Tech Tool a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
