Qualifications for the (GNA) Geriatric Nursing Assistant:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Registered with the state as a GNA / Geriatric Nursing Assistant
Responsibilities as a (GNA) Geriatric Nursing Assistant:
- Provide safe daily resident care
- Transport and assist in ambulating residents
- Maintain a clean and safe resident unit
- Bathe, dress, and feed residents
- Document and communicate resident care information
- Promote and support positive guest relations to all visitors and residents
