Credit Analyst
Sterling Bank – Chetek, WI
Sterling Bank is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our team in Chetek, WI. In this role, you will analyze financial data, assess credit risk, and support lending decisions across consumer, commercial, agricultural, and real estate portfolios.

What You’ll Do
- Analyze financial statements and credit data to assess risk and creditworthiness
- Prepare credit presentations, risk assessments, and monitoring reports
- Complete borrowing base calculations and construction loan reviews
- Perform floor plan audits and ongoing credit monitoring
- Review tax returns, financial statements, and credit reports for annual reviews
- Compare financial performance across industries and markets
- Assist in preparing loan applications and summaries for loan committee review
- Collaborate with lenders and team members on credit decisions
- Maintain compliance with all internal policies and regulatory requirements, including BSA/AML
What We’re Looking For
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
- No prior experience required — training provided
