We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an automotive detailer. The automotive detailer has dual reporting responsibilities to both the Service Manager and the Sales Manager in order to perform automotive detailer duties for both the sales and service departments. Basic automotive detailer duties include cleaning shop, showroom and lot maintenance. The automotive detailer washes & preps customer vehicles either newly purchased or in service department. The automotive detailer arranges and maintains unsold lot vehicles in orderly fashion as directed by management.
AUTOMOTIVE DETAILER RESPONSIBILITES:
- The automotive detailer is responsible for timely and efficient exterior washing and rotation of customer vehicles through the Service and/or Sales Departments.
- Preps & PDI”s all new and pre-owned acquired vehicles for display according to Sterling standards.
- Maintains sales department inventory in an orderly fashion including keeping aisles and parking areas clean.
- Sweeps exterior of the dealership daily each morning, removing any accumulated trash and litter.
- Performs make ready delivery process for all sold vehicles in accordance factory and Sterling standards.
- Cleans and performs general maintenance including sweeping floors, pick up and disposal of trash etc.
AUTOMOTIVE DETAILER QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School diploma
- The automotive detailer exhibits cooperative approach in dealing with customers and peers. Displays personal initiative in performing duties and responsibilities.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time position, offering competitive hourly pay, benefits and paid training. Monday- Friday. Must be able to work 40 hours week.
