Position Summary
As a Sterile Processing Technician for STERIS, you’ll work behind the scenes of healthcare facilities in a fast-paced environment, impacting patient safety without being patient facing. This is an onsite role based in Durham, NC, supporting afternoon shift, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Pay range for this opportunity is $20.84 - $26.97.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

What you’ll do as a Sterile Processing Technician II:
- Reprocess surgical trays post-surgery; ensuring they are decontaminated, cleaned, inspected, sterilized, correctly assembled within a timely manner and ready for the next case
- Operate sterile processing washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic and drying cabinets
- Participate in regular on-site training
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 year Sterile Processing experience with CRCST or CBSPD certification or 2 years’ experience
- CRCST or CBSPD certification (or willing to complete within 12 months of hire)
