Position Description: As a Senior Facility Maintenance Specialist, you're at the forefront of maintaining cutting-edge facilities in a validated cGMP setting. Your role is crucial in enhancing equipment safety and performance through creative solutions and project management. This requires constant innovation and collaboration, especially in training less experienced technicians and leading the charge in Lean practices. Flexibility is key: you'll be responsive to emergencies outside regular hours and assist in manager's duties when needed.
Main Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across various high-tech modalities and conduct scheduled maintenance on processing machines.
- Efficiently manage repair resources, ensuring meticulous documentation and adherence to established maintenance protocols.
- Promote safety by educating team members on Lockout/Tagout procedures and personal protective equipment usage.
- Lead initiatives to improve safety and operational efficiency, recommending and implementing cost-effective strategies.
- Guide internal staff and direct external contractors on essential maintenance tasks, providing fundamental training as necessary.
- Maintain precise calibration schedules and promptly report unusual findings.
- Availability for after-hours calls, offering comprehensive support during overtime, and acting as a backup for the Maintenance Manager.
- Ensure operations align with GMP standards, Lean methodologies, and corporate policies.
Mandatory:
- Associate's degree plus five years' experience or high school diploma/GED coupled with nine years in relevant maintenance roles.
- Ability to interpret technical blueprints and schematics in both electrical and mechanical domains.
- Proficiency with PLC systems and control technology.
- Strong command of English for effective communication.
Desirable Skills:
- Licensed electrician background or experience in air filtration systems.
- Exemplify strong organizational and analytical mathematical skills for troubleshooting and solution development.
