Our school is expanding and seeking passionate music teachers to join our friendly and creative environment.
Job Description:
As a music teacher at our school, you will have the opportunity to teach in your personal style, connecting with students' interests and incorporating songs they enjoy into lessons. Responsibilities include planning and preparing lessons, teaching music theory and practical techniques, motivating students, communicating with parents, assessing student progress.
Requirements:
- A college degree in music or related field
- Teaching experience (at least 1 year)
- Proficiency in singing with a strong knowledge of music theory
- Capable of crafting lesson plans customized to meet the unique needs of each student
- Passionate for teaching music
- Availability to work afternoons and evening hours
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact collaboratively with students and parents
- Able to pass a local background check and drug test
Responsibilities:
- Teach private, semi-private and group lessons to students of all ages and skill levels
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Communicate with parents
- Design individualized lesson plans for students
- Prepare students for recitals
- Assist at school events

Monday-Friday - 2 pm to 9 pm
Saturday 12 am to 6 pm
Weekends as needed
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $28.00 - $32.14 per hour
