POSITION: Registered Nurse (RN)
LOCATION: Elizabethtown, Kentucky
QUALIFICATIONS:
- hold an active Kentucky Registered Nursing License
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TRAINING:
- Provide primary nursing care to our residents which includes oversight of medication administration (residents selfadminister meds), detox monitoring, and evaluation of medical complaints.
- Collect and review all medical labs ordered by physician
- Serve as the primary liaison with the staff physician
- Prepare and assist clinician with group needs
- Be able to recognize problems associated with alcohol use and other drug use, symptoms requiring referral for emergency care, degree of intoxication, stages of withdrawal, and the physical or mental complications that may occur at each stage.
- Perform a comprehensive nursing assessment on all new admissions
- PICC line care including medication administration, dressing changes, and PICC removal. Training will be provided.
SHIFT: Monday – Friday; 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
