Intensive Health is seeking an experienced referral clerk to join its nursing team.

POSITION: Referral Clerk
LOCATION: Elizabethtown, Kentucky
QUALIFICATIONS:
- two years of experience in a healthcare setting
- experience with referrals and PAs preferred
- experience with substance abuse preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- complete all referrals to outside entities as ordered by healthcare providers
- complete prior authorizations for medications
- complete preprocedure certifications for various tests
- obtain KASPERs on necessary patients
- assist on the floor as needed
- manage incoming fax routing and outgoing faxes
- complete medical records requests or route them appropriately
- ensure records and results are received when patients are sent for tests or referrals
- other duties consistent with managing clerical tasks of a medical practice
