POSITION: Medical Receptionist
LOCATION TYPE: Elizabethtown, Kentucky
QUALIFICATIONS:
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years experience in a healthcare office preferred
- CMA/CNA certification or medical billing experience is preferred but not required.
- excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
- if in recovery, two years of sobriety is required by Kentucky regulations
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TRAINING:
- check patients in and out; greeting each patient pleasantly and professionally
- answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- monitor noshows and cancellations
- multitask while maintaining a close attention to detail
- strong computer skills are necessary to navigate a practice management system and separate electronic medical record system
- protect patient’s confidentiality
- empathize with our patient’s needs and concerns
SHIFT: Monday – Friday
