Founded in 1985, Steps is a nonprofit organization providing in-home therapy, education, and parent support for young children with developmental delays and disabilities across Whidbey Island, Anacortes, and San Juan County. In addition to our Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) program, we offer ABA services to children ages 1-6 on Whidbey Island.

Steps is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our collaborative early support team. In this role, you will partner with caregivers to build children's skills through daily routines, play, and meaningful interactions.
Services are provided in natural settings, including family homes and community spaces, allowing you to see progress happen in real time. You’ll conduct assessments, develop individualized goals, and guide families using practical, evidence-based strategies rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll work alongside therapists, educators, and mental health providers to support each child’s development and celebrate progress along the way.
This position provides services throughout Whidbey Island, with travel between communities required.
Required Qualifications:
· WA State Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) according to minimum standards of the State of Washington.
· Have a master’s degree in ABA, education, psychology or similar field.
· Have a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst certification.
· First Aid, Infant/Child CPR, and HIV/AIDS training.
· Demonstrate computer competency.
Pay: $1,001.25 - $2,290.40 per week
