Duties
- Provide accurate and culturally sensitive translation of written documents from Spanish to English and vice versa, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Interpret spoken language in real-time during meetings, medical appointments, legal proceedings, or community events, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Assist with American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation when required, supporting accessibility initiatives for individuals with hearing impairments.
- Collaborate with team members to understand context and terminology specific to various industries or settings to enhance translation accuracy.
- Maintain detailed records of interpreted sessions and translated materials for accountability and quality assurance.
- Support bilingual communication efforts by developing glossaries or reference materials to improve consistency across translations.
