We are looking for a Certified Peer Specialist to join our team and provide support to adults substance abuse disorder. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of RECOVERY and be able to provide guidance, support and resources to individuals in need. The Certified Peer Specialist will be responsible for providing individualized care plans, advocating for clients in the community, and helping to create a safe and supportive environment for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and guidance to individuals that are in recovery.
• Assist individuals in developing and implementing recovery plans.
• Facilitate group meetings and activities.
• Provide education on recovery topics.
• Help individuals access community resources.
• Advocate for individuals in recovery.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed.
• Documentation of services
• Provide a strucured and safe enviorment for individuals to excel in their recovery.
