What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Teacher position at Stepping Stones Learning Center?
We are looking for a Full Time Preschool teacher.
Our hours are 6:30 am to 5:45 pm. We need people that have availability to work during those hours with limited limitations.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and monitor children at all times to ensure their safety
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and cleaning up
- Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, classroom, or nanny setting
- Knowledge of infant care and childhood development principles
- Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Basic understanding of educational principles and the ability to educate young children
- Must be 18 or older.
