Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori principles to support holistic child development.
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of toddlers, preschoolers, and children requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, organized, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and social interaction.
- Use effective behavior management techniques to promote positive conduct and emotional well-being among children.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and specialists to support each child's individual learning plan and welfare needs.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and inform instructional strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of children's developmental milestones, attendance, and classroom activities in compliance with childcare regulations.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in childhood development theories, curriculum development, and lesson planning.
- Experience working with children with special needs or requiring early intervention services is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.
- Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Familiarity with early childhood education standards, Montessori methods, and literacy education techniques.
