Stepping Stones Early Childcare is a small, locally owned center with a close-knit team and a family-like atmosphere. We're looking for a reliable, positive Assistant 3K Teacher to join our team and help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children approximately 2.5 years - 4 years old
A Day in the Life
No two days are ever the same! You might spend your morning:
- Reading books and singing songs.
- Helping toddlers learn through play and exploration.
- Encouraging language, social skills, and independence.
- Assisting with potty training, and daily routines.
- Serving snacks and meals.
- Heading outside for fresh air and playground adventures.
- Comforting little ones through big emotions and celebrating big accomplishments.
- Working alongside a Lead Teacher to create a fun, structured classroom where every child feels loved and supported.
We're Looking for Someone Who:
- Has a positive, patient, and nurturing personality.
- Loves working with toddlers and understands that every day is an adventure.
- Is dependable, reliable, and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.
- Communicates professionally with parents, caregivers, and coworkers.
- Has knowledge of (or is willing to learn) Wisconsin DCF licensing regulations and child-to-staff ratios.
- Is flexible and willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team.
- Has a high school diploma or GED
- Has or willing to obtain CPR certification
