Job Summary
We have 3 openings for a FLEXIBLE floater. 8:30a-5:30p, 11a-8p and 1p-9p. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote early childhood growth, literacy, social skills, and emotional well-being. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help foster a safe, inclusive space where children feel valued, supported, and excited to explore their world. Responsibilities
- Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that support literacy education, math, physical activity, and social-emotional development.
- Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
- Manage classroom environments effectively through positive behavior management techniques that encourage cooperation and respect among children.
- Support children with special education needs and early intervention strategies to promote inclusive learning experiences.
- Foster open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and classroom activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to implement teaching physical education activities and support literacy education initiatives.
- Prior experience in classroom experience involving standardized testing preparation or tutoring is advantageous.
