Responsibilities
- Efficiency is key Planning each day for our crews, to include effectively managing job routes, services, and creating efficient work schedules. If there are efficiency issues, address and correct them as they arise
- Providing direction and delegating responsibility to Crew Leaders to ensure jobs are completed successfully
- Utilizing ServiceAutopilot and other internal programs/processes to manage the crews and jobs
- Understanding the company's service expectations and communicating with clients, crews, and other employees to address questions and concerns in a timely manner
- Perform quality assurance checks as needed on client properties; be proactive to make corrections and/or find opportunities for new work
- Reviewing data of completed jobs and evaluating accounts for estimated vs. actual budgeted hours to determine profitability
- Creating and managing employee training programs
- Managing employee schedules including time off requests and approving timesheets, involvement in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
- Acting as the main communicator between the mowing crews and the office/Owner
- Being in charge of equipment/inventory needed for the crews and services
- Providing leadership and mentorship to other employees
- Ensuring that safety policies are adhered to
- Providing support in the field as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Crew Leader or Foreman the landscaping industry or other managing role outside the industry
- Minimum of 3 years working in the landscaping or related industry
- Strong technical skills and organizational skills to manage jobs, routes, crews, and employee matters
- Strong leadership skills
- Competent at managing teams and training others
- Knowledge of the company's services and standards, or the ability to learn quickly
- Tech savvy - ability to use ServiceAutopilot, the company's CRM platform, as well as other computer programs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license
