As an SLPA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to implement individualized treatment plans that help children develop communication, language, social, and feeding skills. What You'll Do

• Provide speech and language therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.
• Conduct engaging, play-based therapy sessions to address communication, articulation, expressive and receptive language, social communication, fluency, and feeding goals as directed.
• Collect objective data regarding client performance and accurately document treatment sessions in a timely manner.
• Assist the supervising SLP with treatment preparation, therapy materials, and implementation of intervention strategies.
• Reinforce caregiver education and home practice activities as directed by the supervising SLP.
• Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), physicians, schools, and other professionals involved in each child's care.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Medicaid requirements, company policies, and all applicable federal and state regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
• Maintain productivity and documentation standards established by the organization.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and family-centered approach to care.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
• Current Florida Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in good standing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based pediatric care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric speech-language therapy experience.
• Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.
• Experience implementing AAC programs and supporting feeding therapy under SLP supervision is preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicaid documentation requirements.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move throughout the clinic while providing therapy services.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and actively engage with pediatric clients throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely lift or assist children weighing up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to participate in floor play, movement-based therapy activities, and feeding interventions as directed by the supervising SLP.
