Duties
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment that encourages social-emotional growth and appropriate behavior management techniques.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Engage children in hands-on activities that promote childhood development, including physical education, sensory play, and language acquisition.
- Help with classroom organization, lesson planning, and preparing materials to ensure a smooth daily routine aligned with child care standards.
- Foster effective communication with children to enhance their language skills and emotional well-being while working closely with lead teachers to monitor progress.
- Support child welfare by ensuring safety protocols are followed diligently during daycare activities and outdoor play.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in a classroom setting or daycare environment is highly preferred but does not matter if you are willing to learn!
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Pay: $13.73 - $14.00 per hour
