What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dance Instructor/Choreographer/Acro Gymnastics Teacher position at Steppin Out Dance Academy?
We are in need of a dance Instructor & Acrobatic/Gymnastic (floor work) teacher!
Part-time hours, comfortable working Weekly afternoon hours or Saturday mornings.
Knowledge of multi-dance phases and comfortable working with different experience levels.
Must have pervious experience working with (all or most) Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Acro/Gym.
Must be able to connect well with all ages and levels of students. Be honest, reliable, and punctual.
Classes should be energetic and fun. Focus on technique and uniformity.
Requires a resume of past experience working with/alongside children, past dance experience, 3 professional/business references. Please denote your teaching strongpoints/ what forms of dance you are strongest in. Years of experience working or training in various dance genres.
Work extends from Sept - June. Must be available to work recital in mid June.
Job Types: Contract, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
