Plumbing Installer

Roto-Rooter is looking for an experienced Plumbing Installer to join our team.

This is an installation-focused position. Jobs are sold and scheduled for you - your primary responsibility is to complete high-quality plumbing installations safely, efficiently, and professionally.

If you are an experienced plumber who enjoys working with your hands, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and would rather focus on installing than selling, this could be a great fit.

What You Will Do

As a Plumbing Installer, you will complete plumbing installation and replacement projects that have already been sold and scheduled.

·  Complete plumbing installations and replacements according to the approved scope of work.

·  Install and replace plumbing fixtures, equipment, piping, and related plumbing components.

·  Review the scope of work prior to beginning each installation and ensure the proper materials and equipment are available.

·  Perform installations in accordance with applicable plumbing codes, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards.

·  Test completed installations to ensure proper operation and identify any issues before leaving the job.

·  Communicate professionally with customers throughout the installation process.

·  Protect customers' property and maintain a clean, organized work area.

·  Complete required job documentation accurately and on time.

·  Maintain company tools, equipment, materials, and vehicle.

·  Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

·  Work closely with sales, service, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure jobs are completed correctly and efficiently.

·  Represent Roto-Rooter professionally at every customer interaction.

We are looking for an experienced plumbing professional who can take a sold job and complete the installation correctly with minimal supervision.

·  Previous plumbing installation experience required.

·  Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and installation practices.

·  Experience installing and replacing plumbing fixtures, equipment, piping, and related components.

·  Ability to read and understand job scopes and determine the materials and steps needed to complete an installation.

·  Working knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and safety requirements.

·  Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.

·  Ability to produce clean, professional, high-quality installations.

·  Dependable, organized, and able to manage installation time effectively.

·  Strong communication and customer-service skills.

·  Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

·  Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

·  Plumbing license or applicable certifications preferred where required.
