Job Overview:
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, focused Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Also, the candidate will help to gather, organize and summarize client bookkeeping data on a routine basis.
Duties:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and timely
- Prepare and distribute paychecks
- Handle payroll inquiries from employees/clients
- Maintain payroll records and documentation
- Reconcile payroll data
- Assist in journal entries related to payroll transactions
- Utilize accounting software for payroll management
-Utilize Excel, Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online for client bookkeeping tasks
-Gather necessary records to complete bookkeeping tasks in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other staff in a timely manner
- Experience in payroll management (preferred)
- Familiarity with payroll software (preferred)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Familiarity with Excel, Quickbooks Desktop, Quickbooks Online (preferred)
