We’re seeking a Individual Tax Manager who is ready to step into a visible leadership role—someone who not only brings strong technical expertise, but also thrives on mentoring others, managing client relationships, and driving engagement success from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
As a Individual Tax Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role within our firm—owning client relationships, guiding team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax services.
- Lead and manage multiple tax engagements, including budgeting, staffing, billing, and collections
- Review and prepare complex individual and trust tax returns
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients—providing proactive tax planning, strategic insights, and exceptional service
- Mentor and develop staff, fostering technical growth and supporting career progression
- Collaborate across teams to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables exceed expectations
- Continuously look to improve processes and contribute to the firm’s growth and efficiency
What You Bring
- CPA designation required
- 5 years of public accounting experience, including review of individual tax returns and advanced tax planning
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and respond to complex tax matters
- Strong leadership skills including coaching and developing others
- Experience with CCH (Tax, Workstream, Document) and Bloomberg Income Tax Planner is a plus
