Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders and providing personalized recommendations to enhance their visit
- Maintain strict sanitation procedures to ensure cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for smooth transactions and accurate order processing
- Follow food safety management protocols to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
- Restock supplies regularly, including coffee beans, milk, cups, sandwich units and utensils to keep the station fully equipped
- Support food safety practices by adhering to all regulations and guidelines related to food handling and storage
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety management practices. Servsafe certification is preferred but not required.
- Experience working in a coffee shop, restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payments
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to follow health guidelines diligently and uphold cleanliness standards at all times
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
