Medication Technician (Med Tech)
Stephanie Gardens Assisted Living & Memory Care – Gresham, Oregon
Are you a compassionate and dependable Med Tech who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors? Stephanie Gardens, professionally owned and managed by Ohana Ventures, is seeking an experienced Medication Technician to join our caring team.
In this role, you will support residents with medication administration, personal care, and activities of daily living while helping them maintain their dignity, comfort, and independence. You will work closely with the Health Services Director, caregivers, medical professionals, and residents’ families to ensure each resident receives safe, individualized care according to their service plan.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications accurately and according to physician orders, resident service plans, and community policies.
- Document medication administration and resident care completely and accurately.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, mobility, toileting, and dining.
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, medical providers, and team members.
- Follow all medication-management, infection-control, safety, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain all required training and certifications.
- Support a clean, safe, respectful, and welcoming environment.
- Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and team meetings.
- Follow all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least one year of caregiving or medication-administration experience preferred.
- Current medication-administration training or certification, as required by Oregon regulations.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and make sound decisions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and responding calmly to resident needs.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and assist residents safely.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to complete required written and electronic documentation.
Supervision
This position reports to the Health Services Director.

Pay: $19.78 - $23.42 per hour
