Responsibilities
- Safely handle dogs of various breeds and temperaments
- Perform bathing, drying, brushing, anal glands, and ear cleaning to meet breed standards and owner preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bathing area, including sanitation of tools and workspaces
- Assess each dog’s coat condition and skin health, reporting any concerns to owner when necessary
- Handle heavy lifting of animals or equipment safely to prevent injury and ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Prior experience in pet bathing is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong animal handling skills with patience and compassion for pets of all sizes and temperaments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in a physically active environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
