Job Type: Long-term subcontract (1099), Flexible, self-determined schedule
Job Overview: Step Property Maintenance Corp is seeking experienced Property Preservation & Repair Subcontractors to handle a wide range of foreclosure property maintenance, preservation, and repair services. We offer a strong and consistent volume of work through our partner companies. This is an excellent opportunity for contractors who can handle both routine preservation tasks and large-scale repairs.
Scope of Work:
Subcontractors must be able to perform standard property preservation services, including but not limited to:
- Initial Securing
- Evictions / Cash for Keys
- Lock Changes / General Handyman Work
- Lawn Maintenance & Landscaping
- Winterizations
- Trash-Out / Debris Removal
- Pool Maintenance
- Roof Repairs
- Hazard Removal
- Mold & Water Remediation
- Rehab & Insurance/Hazard Claims Work
- Initial Sales Cleaning / Maid Services
- Boarding, Reglazing, Door & Window Installation
Additional Requirement:
- Ability to provide accurate bid estimates with proper measurements, photos, and whiteboard documentation
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (Truck with trailer preferred)
- Own tools (lawn equipment, lock change tools, general repair tools, etc.)
- Smartphone with good photo quality
- Experience with property preservation and repair work
- Knowledge of HUD guidelines and bid estimation
- Ability to purchase materials as needed
- Familiarity with PPW (Property Preservation Wizard) is a plus
- Strong online communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to complete work orders on time
