The Pick-up and Delivery Specialist assists our Mobile Service Department with transporting customer vehicles while providing excellent customer service. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Duties/Responsibilities

• Safely transport customer vehicles to and from homes, businesses, and other designated locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during every customer interaction.
• Utilize the DriverQ mobile application to receive assignments, navigate routes, document vehicle condition, complete trip checklists, and record transportation activity.
• Perform vehicle walk-arounds before and after each trip, documenting any existing damage.
• Maintain communication with the PDEL Coordinator regarding trip status, delays, and schedule changes.
• Ensure vehicles are returned clean, fueled appropriately, and ready for customer delivery.
• Follow all dealership and Ford Pick-Up & Delivery program standards.
• Safely operate customer and dealership vehicles while obeying all traffic laws.
• Organize and maintain dealership inventory on the lot.
• Move vehicles between the service drive, parking areas, body shop, and sales lot.
• Assist in staging vehicles for customer delivery and service appointments.
• Keep service parking areas organized and free of congestion.
• Vacuum, fuel, and prepare customer vehicles when needed.
• Monitor vehicle fuel levels and ensure vehicles are charged or fueled as necessary.
• Assist with misc service and/or sales tasks, lot cleanliness, and general dealership appearance.
• Perform miscellaneous errands and vehicle transfers as assigned.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Must present excellence work ethic, punctuality, and appearance.
• Must be able to lift and move work-related items up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, and bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, and turn head-neck-shoulders as needed.

Education and Experience

• No experience necessary
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Report.
• CDL preferred
• A minimum of 2 years' customer service
