Caregiver (Must have own Client)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver who already has their own client base to join our dynamic home care team. Duties

• Provide personalized assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior
• Assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization tasks
• Support patients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s as needed
• Document care activities accurately, including patient observations, vital signs, and any incidents or concerns

Requirements

• Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes with a focus on senior or disability care
• Must have own client base with active engagement in caregiving services
• Valid certifications in CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are highly preferred
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer’s and memory care), or hospice needs
• Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and care planning
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids
• Excellent communication skills for working with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
