Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver who already has their own client base to join our dynamic home care team. Duties
- Provide personalized assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior
- Assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization tasks
- Support patients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s
as needed - Document care activities accurately, including patient observations, vital signs, and any incidents or concerns
Requirements
- Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes with a focus on senior or disability care
- Must have own client base with active engagement in caregiving services
- Valid certifications in CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are highly preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer’s and memory care), or hospice needs
- Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and care planning
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids
- Excellent communication skills for working with patients, families, and healthcare teams
