Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect accurate behavioral data and document session progress in a timely manner
- Deliver discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching (NET), and other ABA-based interventions
- Support clients in developing communication, social, and daily living skills
- Maintain professional and positive relationships with clients, families, and team members
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
- Follow all ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards in accordance with BACB requirements
Requirements:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- Prior experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or developmental disabilities
- Strong data collection, documentation, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable demeanor with a client-centered approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

We are looking for a part-time RBT that would work at at one of our DC locations for our social skills groups from 2-6pm Mon-Fri and summers 9-4. At Step-By-Step, every team member plays a vital role in changing lives — one step at a time.
