Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Electrician to oversee electrical installations, maintenance, and repair projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of electrical systems and safety regulations. This role involves supervising a team of electricians, coordinating project schedules, ensuring compliance with codes, and providing hands-on electrical work as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision:
- Lead and manage a team of electricians, apprentices, and technicians.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality workmanship.
- Train and mentor junior electricians to enhance skills and knowledge.
Electrical Installation & Maintenance:
- Plan, install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure proper system functionality.
- Perform wiring, conduit installation, circuit breaker setup, and other electrical tasks.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and hazards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
Project Coordination & Communication:
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical work, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Provide progress reports and updates to management.
Preferred:
- Experience with industrial and commercial electrical work.
- Certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or other relevant training.
- Experience working with HVAC systems, generators, and automation controls.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or elevated areas.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and environments.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as required.

Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
