Job Description: IV INFUSION NURSE
SUMMARY:
The Infusion Nurse will be responsible for administering IV therapy as prescribed by the patient’s physician and/or Nurse Practitioner while creating a warm, welcoming, and highly engaging patient experience in a Med Spa environment. This position requires a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Texas who is clinically skilled, outgoing, talkative, customer focused, and naturally able to build rapport with patients. The ideal candidate brings a bubbly, professional, and sales-oriented personality that helps patients feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to return, supporting increased patient satisfaction, retention, and overall clinic growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Add mixture protocols to IV Bags, perform pushes and set drip rates for Infusions
· Administer medications, vitamins and fluids via IV Infusion
· Administer various intramuscular & subcutaneous injections of medications & vitamins
· Monitor patients during their IV Therapy & Injections
· Provide safe, effective, appropriate & comprehensive infusion services to patients
· Assist with scheduling & Preparing Patients for Infusion Appointments
· Chart and document Progress Notes for each Infusion Appointment in EMR Software
· Interact directly with patients in a clinical capacity to assess needs
· Explaining Clinic/Patient Procedures & Policies
· Maintain a clean treatment area by cleaning and prepping for treatments
· Provide Patient Education and follow-up care
· Create and maintain positive patient relationships by delivering a friendly, energetic, and memorable experience that makes each patient feel welcomed, valued, and confident in returning for future infusion services.
· Provide Inventory Reports to the Head Infusion Nurse and/or Program Director
· Clerical Duties: typing, copying, scanning, faxing, mailing, printing, etc.
· Perform Other Duties as Required

· Registered Nurse License
· 2 Years of Experience / Strong Venous Access Skills
· Professional Attire & Behavior
· Exceptional customer service skills with a warm, upbeat, engaging, and patient-focused communication style
· Highly communicative, talkative, and comfortable building rapport with patients throughout the visit
· Bi-Lingual (Spanish) (desired, not required)
· Attention to Detail/Data Entry Accuracy
· Positive Attitude & Respectful
· Warm, welcoming, sensitive, and patient with each customer’s needs, questions, comfort level, and overall experience
· Sales-minded and comfortable educating patients about available services, follow-up care, and future appointment options while maintaining a professional, clinical, and patient-centered approach.

Pay: $35.00 per hour
