What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Forklift Operator Nights position at Stemilt?
Number of openings: 1 Full-Time, Regular
Location: Shipping– NDC
Working Shift: Night Shift
Hours & Workdays: 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm, Monday - Friday. May vary depending on production. Some weekends required.
This position will require a pre-employment drug test.
Qualifications:
- Must have Forklift driving experience.
- Must be able to high stack.
- Must have the ability to occasionally lift 60 lbs.
- Must be flexible with working schedule, will require weekends.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must be able to read and write English for pallet tickets.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must have the ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Must have or have the ability to obtain a Forklift Certification.
- Must be able to work in cold environment when needed.
- Must be able to work in a fast passed environment.
Duties:
- Receiving, moving and high stacking bins.
- Setting up orders, loading and unloading trucks, carrying supplies.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Other jobs may be assigned.
