What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Lead Pear Line Days position at Stemilt?
Number of openings: 1 Fulltime, Year Round
Location: Pear Line – Old Station
Working Shift: Day Shift
Hours & Work Days: 5:00 am – 2:00 pm, Monday - Friday; May vary depending on production.
This position will require a pre-employment drug test.
Qualifications:
- Must have knowledge of fruit grades/sizes, varieties, machinery and supplies.
- Must have the ability to train new hires in job functions.
- Must be able to make quick informative decisions during periods of high pressure.
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have knowledge of pack schedules.
- Be able to do repetitive work while paying attention to detail.
- Must have basic computer skills.
Duties:
- Assist the supervisor implement Stemilt standards throughout the line.
- Be a team leader and motivate the line.
- Adjust line speed.
- Monitoring cost per box.
- Insure tickets in are cleared.
- Monitor quality of production.
- Other duties may encompass other than the duties listed.
