What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead System Administrator (Top Secret) position at Stem IT?
A leader in Electronic Warfare is looking to hire a Lead System Administrator. This organization has partnerships with the Department of War that are redefining our offensive cyber capabilities in pursuit of stronger national security.
Based in Arlington, the Lead System Administrator should be comfortable working in a blended Windows/Linux environment. This person will be responsible for ensuring the security of classified and CUI networks - configuring, maintaining, automating. RHEL and Windows Server 2019/2022 experience is required, as well as proficiency in Active Directory. Exposure to DoD STIGs, NIST Framework, and RMF working in conjunction with ISSO/ISSM is great experience as well.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors in IT or related field
- 5 years of System Admin or Engineer experience
- Has worked in both classified and unclassified networks
- Depth of experience working in both Windows and Linux environments
- Active Directory
- Vulnerability Management and Scanning Tools (Nessus, ACAS, etc)
- NIST 800-53 ; NIST 800-171
- Understanding of Risk Management Framework
Salary : $160,000 - $190,000
