Key Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of civil litigation from case assessment through trial preparation
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
- Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Manage caseloads efficiently while meeting deadlines
- Participate in settlement negotiations and client communications
Requirements
- Active member in good standing with the California Bar
- 2 years of experience in civil litigation and insurance defense
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent time-management abilities
- Ability to take ownership of cases and exercise sound judgment
