Position: Software Quality Engineer (C/C )- DO-178B/C
Duration: 24 month contract
Location: St. Louis, MO 63101 100% onsite (relocation candidates is fine)
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to support safety critical embedded software development. The ideal candidate will have experience with DO-178B/C process compliance, software quality assurance, C/C , Python, and software lifecycle audits.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with DO-178B/C software development processes.
- Review software lifecycle documentation, requirements, verification, and traceability.
- Perform process and quality audits to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Support software development teams using C/C and Python-based tools.
- Identify process improvements and track corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and certification teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of Software Quality Assurance experience.
- Experience with DO-178B/C process compliance.
- Knowledge of C/C and Python.
- Experience with software quality processes, audits, and lifecycle documentation.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
