Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer- IBM i system admin

Job Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI (Onsite - Local Only)
Job Duration: 11 Months contract (with possible extension)
Job Description
- Perform IBM I administration, including system installs, PTF deployment, HMC maintenance, system firmware, software installation, configuration, custom development, and security requirements.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
- Review system logs, application logs and verify the successful completion of scheduled jobs, such as backups.
- Perform problem isolation, definition, resolution and follow-up for system, application, and customer problems.
- Provide monthly reporting regarding system performance and assist with capacity planning requirements.
- Maintain 3rd party software applications.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery testing.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.
