Proposal Manager

Seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to oversee complex pursuits within the energy, engineering, and construction sectors. This position combines proposal strategy, hands-on writing, and full-cycle proposal management for projects involving power generation, renewables, transmission and distribution, industrial facilities, and related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage RFQs, SOQs, and RFPs from initial review through final submission.
• Develop proposal strategies, win themes, differentiators, and client-specific messaging.
• Write and edit executive summaries, proposal narratives, and other strategic content.
• Work with engineering, estimating, operations, and business development teams to translate technical information into persuasive responses.
• Develop proposal schedules, compliance matrices, content outlines, and review plans.
• Identify content gaps, compliance risks, and inconsistencies in proposal messaging.
• Lead proposal kickoffs, strategy meetings, and formal review cycles.
• Coordinate graphics, document production, quality checks, and final submissions.
• Provide guidance to proposal coordinators and specialists supporting major pursuits.

Qualifications

• 8 years of project or team management experience within AEC, EPC, or closely related industries.
• Experience managing complex proposals for engineering, construction, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong hands-on proposal writing experience, including executive summaries and technical or strategic narratives.
• Experience developing win themes, competitive positioning, and client-focused proposal content.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; Adobe Creative Suite experience preferred.
• Ability to manage concurrent proposals and deadlines.
