Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school-based therapy team. The OT will evaluate, plan, and implement therapy services to support students’ participation in school activities and enhance their independence across the educational setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to determine students’ needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services within the classroom and school environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development.
- Monitor and document student progress while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to support student participation.
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active OT license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain before start date).
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred, not required.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Passion for helping children thrive in their educational setting.
