We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

Position Summary

The HVAC & Refrigeration Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing residential and commercial heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, safety-minded, and capable of working independently while representing the company with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment including walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and reach-in units.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential issues.
• Install HVAC and refrigeration equipment according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Accurately document service calls, repairs, recommendations, and customer interactions.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedules as needed.

Qualifications Required

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

Preferred

• Commercial refrigeration experience.
• Factory training certifications.
• Experience with ductless mini-split systems.
• Experience with commercial package units, split systems, and controls.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and commercial kitchen equipment.

• Monday – Friday
• Overtime available
