Your Role
As a Wellness Nurse with Stellar Senior Living in Oro Valley, Arizona, you'll be a vital part of a compassionate team dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents. Your duties will include:
- Conduct resident wellness assessments and accurately document resident status on our electronic care system
- Perform medication administration and routine checks of residents' vital signs with a gentle touch, prioritizing their comfort and well-being
- Delegate and oversee nurse duties to unlicensed personnel, including med techs and caregivers, in accordance with Arizona scope-of-practice rules
- Support residents and families through changes in care needs, acting as a liaison to ensure open communication and a supportive network
- Collaborate with the Health and Wellness Director and other department leaders to coordinate care plans and resident services
- Monitor residents throughout their day-to-day care, creating a reassuring atmosphere within our community
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with company policy and state regulations
Qualifications
- Must hold an unrestricted LPN or LVN license valid in the state of Arizona
- Prior experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living strongly preferred
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer skills, including comfort with electronic care/documentation systems
