Job Description
Our security/maintenance worker oversees keeping our residents living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detail-oriented and friendly.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine security patrols throughout the community during overnight hours.
- Monitor building access,respond to alarms ,resident pendants, and report safety or security concerns.
- Assist residents, staff , and visitors as needed during overnight hours.
- Complete incident reports and maintain accurate shift logs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, troubleshooting.
- Respond to maintenance emergencies such as plumbing, electrical, or equipment issues within scope of training.
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
- Assist with room turns, work orders, and facility upkeep.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to communicate verbally and in written form and cooperate effectively with others
- Proven work experience as a security guard or maintenance worker
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
- Surveillance skills with orientation to detail
- Integrity and professionalism
- Ability to pass drug test
- Ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card
