We are seeking an experienced and motivated Security Operations Manager to lead field operations, develop staff, manage client accounts, and ensure smooth and effective daily operations across the Memphis Metro Area.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee daily security operations across all assigned sites to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor officer performance, post compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage scheduling to ensure full coverage, manage call-offs, and control overtime.
  • Coordinate logistics for new account setups, including staffing, training, and site preparation.
  • Implement and enforce operational policies, procedures, and post orders.

Training & Development

  • Lead officer training programs, including onboarding, ongoing education, and refresher courses.
  • Conduct field evaluations, performance assessments, and corrective coaching.
  • Identify skill gaps and provide mentoring to build a professional and reliable team.

Client Relations & Communication

  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, updates, and proactive issue resolution.
  • Conduct client meetings and participate in account reviews to ensure satisfaction and quality assurance.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client inquiries, service requests, and escalations.

Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise field supervisors and site personnel, ensuring accountability, professionalism, and adherence to standards.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture built on respect, responsibility, and communication.
  • Conduct regular internal meetings to align field operations with company goals.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all officers maintain valid licenses and certifications per state and company regulations.
  • Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and documentation of corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling, timesheets, attendance records, and site activity logs.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with uniform, post orders, and company policies.

Administrative & Strategic Duties

  • Collaborate with HR and management on hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
  • Monitor manpower levels and adjust staffing to meet operational and budgetary needs.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for upper management.
  • Assist with developing post orders, operational procedures, and emergency response plans.
  • Coordinate use of company vehicles, radios, and equipment inventory.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours or emergency operational support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in security management, supervision, or field operations.
  • Valid state security license or ability to obtain one.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple sites, schedules, and teams effectively.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
  • Willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficient in scheduling, reporting, and communication software (preferred).
