Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manage invoices, payments, and customer account reconciliation. This role is critical in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely collection of payments, and supporting the company’s cash flow.ResponsibilitiesProcess and reconcile all cash receipts, including customer payments, credit card receipts, loan disbursements and apply customer payments to their respective accounts and invoices. Prepare deposits for bank and deposit daily. Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of customers. Communicate with customers regarding billing and other general inquiries. Collaborate with sales, production, and collections teams to ensure smooth billing and payment processes. Manage customer discrepancies, deductions and/or adjustments. Accountable for reducing accounts receivable aging/delinquency. Recommends and prepares severely delinquent accounts for external collection proceedings. Performs collection related tasks for accounts with past due receivable balances. Reconcile accounts receivable and cash receipt records with general ledger accounts. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Experience2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles, preferred. Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize workload, and work in fast-paced environment.
