Location & Work Arrangement

- Work Arrangement: Onsite (Required to come to the office per a hybrid work schedule; Local Candidates Only).
- Contract: This is a Contract position.
- Mode of Interview: Either Web Cam or In Person.
Primary Responsibilities and Technical Environment
This role blends advanced technical proficiency with team support and vendor coordination within a fast-paced government setting.
1. Complex Issue Resolution & Leadership
- Escalation Point: Serve as the final escalation point for technical issues, guiding the team in troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware, software, and network problems.
- Troubleshooting: Apply strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to efficiently resolve technical issues.
- Vendor Management: Act as the primary contact for third-party vendors, coordinating support for advanced issues and ensuring timely resolution.
2. Core System Management (10 Years Experience)
- Microsoft Suite: Ensure proper management and support for essential technologies:
- Office 365 / Microsoft 365 (2 years experience, including mailbox migration).
- Active Directory (AD) (5 years in a production environment, 3 years experience with AD upgrade/migration).
- Exchange Server and Microsoft Teams softphones.
- Windows Infrastructure: Expert understanding of Windows Client and Windows Server in production environments.
- Configuration via Group Policy and/or scripts.
- PowerShell proficiency to automate and execute tasks.
- Connectivity & Security: Manage VPN, RDP, and basic understanding of TCP/IP Stack (DNS, DHCP). Experience with ADFS or Azure Active Directory and understanding of SAML 2.0 (1 year).
3. Documentation and Service Improvement
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and troubleshooting procedures (ITIL best practices understanding is a plus).
- Solutions Implementation: Research, recommend, and implement technical solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure management and supporting SharePoint environments is a plus.
