Job Title: Business Analyst (Guidewire Policy Center)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong expertise in Guidewire Policy Center to collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams. This role involves analyzing system change requests, preparing design documentation, and supporting the full software development lifecycle for system enhancements and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as expert knowledge on the Guidewire Policy Center.
- Partner with business units to gather, analyze, and document system change requests.
- Assess integration dependencies with internal and external applications; collaborate with solution architects and developers on design plans.
- Evaluate the impact of business process changes on technical requirements across systems.
- Guide initiatives through the System Development Life Cycle, ensuring proper documentation, development, testing, and deployment.
- Produce detailed deliverables including Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), use cases, wireframes, system flow diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Clarify requirements before handing off to the Application Delivery team.
- Support operations by triaging production issues and coordinating with development teams.
- Act as a liaison between business leads, developers, and support teams.
- Assist with UAT sessions and collaborate with QA to ensure test cases are accurate and comprehensive.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to write detailed SRS, use cases, and wireframes.
- Experience with defect-tracking tools (e.g., Rally, JIRA).
- Skilled at building consensus across departments with conflicting requirements.
- Proficiency with browser-based development tools.
- Hands-on experience working in cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
- Familiarity with HTML, XML, SOAP APIs, and UX design.
- Knowledge of homeowners insurance required; commercial property insurance experience is a plus.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of Guidewire implementation experience.
