Description:
Summary: This position will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to the production schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Enter scrap to job tickets and become fluent in MRP software timely:
- Create supporting work documents
- Monitor and manually close jobs when complete
- Complete rework job to replace scrapped parts if necessary
- Print/ sort/ batch/distribute job travelers
- Minor inventory adjustments: request change of part locations, and primary bins
- Manage add sheet and returns
- Follows all company safety rules as laid out in the company safety manual and all other company policies
- Assist in managing DMR/ NC items
- Coordinate with purchasing when supplies are needed
- Continually strive to improve in all aspects of job requirements
- Act as a positive role model for all co-workers
- Promote a productive and non-disruptive work ethic within the company
- Perform other duties as assigned
